Habits

Dry Wood Termites like to hang out at your chair and old antique (made of wood). Normally how you can spot them is that you start to see small poo-poo droplets near your furniture or antique pieces. You also start to see certain wood elements of your furniture has been damaged.

Damp Wood Termites

Characteristics

Damp Wood Termite can grow to about 0.5cm-1cm in length.

Damp Wood Termite is usually brownish red in color

Habits

Damp Wood Termites are usually found in landed properties gardens (some fallen rotten branches), dead trees in the gardens and etc. These termites do make a home in the soil but they actually live inside the dead branches. The reason is because the termites prefer to live in a damp and semi-wet condition.
